Research/Industrial Projects

Approval Form and Final Report

Students need to complete a MM course Project (MM 807 & MM 808) in the third and fourth terms. The MM program project collaborators will be consulted to define practical research projects or industrial application related projects. Depending on the collaborators’ locations, students will have the opportunity to travel aboard but this arrangement is subject to the necessary visa approval. Students who are sponsored by their employers to register for the MM program can work on projects defined by their employers.

Mitacs is a national, not-for-profit organization that has designed and delivered research and training programs in Canada for 15 years. Our Multimedia Program and Mitacs has signed a Memorandum of Understanding, where Mitacs has agreed to faciliate Multimedia students (at least 10 per year) to build partnerships with industries for the completion of MM Program student projects.
