Application Procedure for the Master with Specialisation in Multimedia Program (MM)

Important Note:

  1. When you are on the FGSR Graduate Application page, select Computing Science and then click Search by Department.
  2. Create your account as prompted.
  3. Under Program Search, select Computing Science.
  4. Choose “Master of Science (Crse) in Computing Science, Multimedia - Full Time
  5. You need to complete the following sections:
    1. Personal Information
    2. Languages
    3. Academic History
    4. References – MM applicants do not need to submit references. Since this is a mandatory field, applicant can input a known email address but make sure that the address owner is informed and will not respond to the reference request.
    5. Funding/ Supervisors –
      1. The Multimedia Program is a student self-funded program and thus no funding, e.g. TA or RA, will be offered.
      2. MM applicants do not need to specify a supervisor; MM students only choose a supervisor when they are ready for the 8-month project placement (internship).
    6. Documents – In additional to the mandatory document required by FGSR, (e.g. transcripts and certificates in both English and the original language of all post-secondary education) applicants can upload a pdf describing previous multimedia related industrial or course projects. Another pdf can include all the multimedia skills related professional certificates.

  6. Administration fee has to be paid in order for an application to be evaluated by the MM Evaluation Committee.

For international students, the study visa application may take months depending on the country. Note that there will not be any email notifying Admission or Rejection. After submitting your application, monitor your applicant’s portal to learn the latest status.
