Prepare your graduation

Students need to finish all the following (soft copy or hard copy for 2-4)

1 Complete all six MM courses in compliance with the grade requirement 1st and 2nd semesters
a. Suggest you set up your LinkedIn profile if you do not already have one. The profile will be included in our Multimedia LinkedIn grouphttps://www.linkedin.com/in/multimedia-graduates/
b. Update your resume for internship opportunity
c. MM Director will provide a letter for international students to apply co-op permit, which is needed if the internship is off-campus
For information only 2nd semester
2 8 months full-time internship
a) Approval form
b) 4-month report
c) 8-month report
3rd and 4th semesters
3 IDP workbook required by FGSR (submit to MM Director) 1st year
4 8 hours ethics training required by FGSR https://www.ualberta.ca/graduate-studies/current-students/academic-requirements/ethics
Students need to submit the certificates to MM Director
1st year
5 IDP and PD completion form to MM Director After 2(b)
5 Graduation registration https://www.ualberta.ca/registrar/graduation-convocation/prepare-to-graduate
Apply for graduation on Bear Tracks, under the Academics tab. See below for application opening dates and deadlines.
You are required to apply for graduation even if you don’t plan to attend your convocation ceremony.
After 1-5

After completing all above, students can request the Letter of Completion from FGSR once their final grade for MM808 is posted on Bear Tracks. The letter can be collected in person or via email.
