Tuition & Fees

Fee (Subject to annual adjustment by FGSR, University of Alberta)*

*The Instructional Fee For The Next Academic Year Should Be Based On The Latest University Of Alberta Master With Specialization In Multimedia Program Official Posting.

  • Application Fee
  • Instructional Fee (each 3 credits unit) follows the Non-Standard Program, e.g. for the 2022 Fall Term (international student), it is $2,040 for every 3 credits
  • Instructional Fee is based on 9 credits per each of the four terms with a total of 36 credits)

The Multimedia Masters Program is a self-funded program. Students will not be supported by teaching assistant funding or other scholarship available to students enrolled in the regular graduate program in the Department of Computing Science.

Note that the tuition fee deadline is the same for the University. It is always the last working day in September for Fall Term and the last working day in January for Winter Term.
Fee assessments are provided in late July on Bear Tracks. Before then students can look at what each course will cost ( www.mmgrad.org ) plus the non-instructional fees. For samples of non-instructional fees, please see: Link. Please note that this is based on last year and will change slightly.
